I found your site when trying to help a friend at work who is having a very difficult time dealing with a recent change.

She suddenly got pink eye. I searched the web for the "spiritual significance of pink eye" and found your site. Your definition and quote fits her situation.

Answer to the Spiritual Significance of Breast Cancer

Hello Concerned Friend,

The energy and emotional center of the 4th Chakra, would include any conditions of the chest, breast, heart and lungs.

I do have an article on healing the 4th Chakra, but it does not specifically address breast cancer. I chose not to address each and every possible physical manifestation of an unbalanced 4th Chakra, as this article would be way to long. It is possible that I will in the future.

Because the 4th Chakra energy pertains to love and being loved, the spiritual significance of breast conditions is all about love and specifically nurturing. For the person who has breast cancer, one would have to do some deep self-examination, and reflection regarding how these issues play out in their lives.

Are you overly nurturing? Is this nurturing self sacrificing? Are you under-nourished yourself as a result? Is your own love of yourself weak? Do you always feel like you are giving only to others? Do you take time to nurture yourself and tenderly care for your own self? Do you care for your own body, your own consciousness, and your own soul? How do you nourish your soul?

These questions, often are not easy to answer. Self-sacrifice isn't all it is cracked up to be, especially in light of the epidemic of breast cancer in this country.
